Reverse Bay Park (Right)

Drive slow (in the normal position - left hand side of the carriageway).  Look for the space you want to park in, drop into first gear, and move over to the right hand side of the carriageway infront of the space. (Photo 1)

Drive slow to the left so that you position the car at an angle to the space you want to reverse into . (Photo 3)

Put the car in reverse and apply hand brake. Observe all around the car then start to reverse slow turning fast to the right. (Photo 5)

Keep checking your position out the front windscreen.  When the car is pointing directly forward quickly undo the steering to straighten the wheels. (Photo 7)

When the second line of the bay is roughly to the right of you side window check your left mirror and steer full lock to the left. (Photo 2)

Stop the car when you see the end of the second line of the space in your right wing mirror (this is the line to the right of the bay as you reverse in!) . (Photo 4)

Reverse slow making small adjustments to the steering as you go.  Keep checking mirrors to keep yourself as close to the middle of the bay as possible. (Photo 5)

Slow reverse until the car is fully in the space.  As a guide try to imagine a line running along the front of the spaces to your right and reverse until that line cuts your door just below or around your wing mirror. (Photo 8)
